Cancellations
Occasionally, inclement weather or other unforeseen events prevent a rehearsal or performance from taking place.
Please note that:
- Only the Musical Director and the VCS President can make the decision to cancel a rehearsal or performance and will communicate that decision to the membership as soon as possible.
- Section leaders will be notified, who in turn will contact the members of the section by phone or email.
- Members are encouraged to check phone messages and email frequently and are NOT encouraged to travel in inclement weather.
- An additional rehearsal may be scheduled to accommodate the loss of rehearsal time due to inclement weather or other emergency.
